"Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication"

Translation theory and intercultural communication is aimed at training modern specialists with a broad general scientific outlook, deep knowledge in the field of linguistics and intercultural communication, highly professional knowledge of two foreign languages ?? (English, German) and specialists who are able to quickly adapt to the demands of a dynamically developing labor market.

Graduates receive an opportunity to receive fundamental theoretical training in the field of linguistics, translation studies and intercultural communication. The educational program creates the preconditions for the formation of students' skills in written translation of texts of various functional and stylistic affiliations, skills of effective intercultural communication based on two foreign languages, provision of interlingual mediation in business negotiations, conferences, etc., as well as the ability to carry out search and research activities for professional purposes and use the latest information and communication technologies in their practice.
